July 1st, 2009 Going “Within”

Harmony in the world “within” means the ability to control our thoughts, and to determine for ourselves how any experience is to affect us.

“Ye are gods.” Jesus 30-33 years old

The ego is that part of us that is competing with God for thought control. Every time the ego competes, God allows the ego to “win”, and then goes in and picks up the pieces using miracles, ever showing us that we have nothing to fear when we just allow God to run our life. When we “judge” our situation, we are judging from our “past perspectives.” Past perspectives have never been true and you are now realizing that You have always been in the kingdom of God.

I want to describe the kingdom as I have come to understand it. When we “fear” by thought, we are not in the kingdom. Jesus tells us he does not use his “own thought” but the “thought” of the “Father within.” This is done by quieting  the “mind chatter” or meditation. Jesus tells us “go into the prayer closet and be alone.”

Was “thought of the ego” the reason for the fall of man? Was the forbidden fruit or the tree of life and knowing good from evil, was this “thought?” Remember we can not control or fix anything in the mind. It is only an illusion that we can.

Stresss, anxiety, fear and worry are all a result of “thought!” If you lose your job for example you only have fear, stress, anxiety or worry when you “think” about it. If you do not “think” and allow God to work it out All things become OK.

We do not make our heart beat, we do not digest our food, we do not blink our eyes; No No and No. Why? GOD does it for us. If we tried to think about these things we would make a mess of them. We would make a mess of things, by yes, you got it, “thinking about them.”

When the mind is engaged in “thought” is has no way of hearing God. The mind can only “think” of one thing at a time.

The thought that I am referring to here is “ego”or as Jesus calls it “devil thought'” Thoughts that cause fear in the mind of the thinker. In the Bible, Koran or Torah; God asks Adam why are you afraid? We “disobey” or “go against good” when we “think” on our own without seeking the “Father within” first and this causes us fear and worry.

Any “thought” not of God will cause you to experience fear. Why because the “thoughts” are not true. All thoughts of and from God feel free and energizing. Jesus told us how to get back in the “garden” and to stay there. He told us go “within” seek the “Father.”

In the eyes of God self love is the highest form of worship. Love yourself/god and then you can love others. You can not love others if you do not love God. The love you “think” you have for others will be of the ego and false. Jesus tells us to love thy lord thy God first with all your heart, soul, mind and body. We can only do this when we understand what and who God is and you can Only know what and who God is by “going within.”

Love,

David

Did Jesus really mean we are gods (divine eternal beings) when he said “we are all Gods” in John 10:34?

NO, this is a perversion of Scripture from men like Deepak Chopra who are wolves in sheep’s clothing. They talk about Scripture and twist it to their destruction.

    2 Timothy 4:3
“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.”

Read what Jesus really meant here:
    http://saintdisillusion.wordpress.com/2009/08/02/did-jesus-really-say-we-are-all-gods/

    • “The power to think consecutively and deeply and clearly, is an avowed and deadly enemy to mistakes and blunders, supersitions, unscientific theories, irrational beliefs, and unbridled enthusiam, fanaticism.”
      HADDOCK

    • 2 Timothy 4:3
“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.”

This is Not about men like Deepak. This is for men who try and get you to follow “them” and Not Jesus and what he taught. Why so many religions? Is yours the “Right One?” It is? Ok why is yours right and everyone else who’s opinion differs from yours wrong? Did Jesus say if they are not against us LEAVE THEM ALONE? It is all devil that causes division. I have never tried to get anyone to “believe” as I do nor do men like Deepak. What we try and get You to do is for the first time think for yourself and not be told what to “believe” this is what Jesus taught. When was the last time you contacted the “Father” that Jesus tells you about? The last time? What did the Father impress upon you, Deepak is wrong? Or did that come STRAIGHT FROM THE EGO? Do not Judge others, understand them, love them if you think they are misguided help them to understand. Don’t threaten them with hell fire if they do not see it “your way.” Deepak loves Jesus, have you ever read one of his books? Does your sect or denomination forbid you to investiagte?
I will close with saying: “Love those who you think are your enemies and you will discover that they loved you first!”
      Love,
      David

jesus taught to not be told what to believe yet he told us to believe in him and follow him? he told us to believe in him he told us he was the only way.. there is no otherr way except through him… to say that there is no set way to get to heaven to get to God is to contradict what jesus says.. for us to be able to say jesus is the only wayy is only saying what jesus said..

  2. How do you or I know what Jesus “really meant?” How did you come up with your answer? We can not be afraid of “hell.” Hitler burned people to death. And a loving God who created you and loves you more than you love your own children would never do to you WORSE than Hitler did to the Jewish people. It is only out of fear that we even “think” that this can be true. And it is Only because we listen to other men and read books that Kings put together and our “TOLD” what to believe that we live in Fear and believe a loving God would burn you FOREVER!
How did you come to your beliefs?? Prayer? Asking the “father within” as Jesus instructed? Or did you read it in a book and “believe” it and now try and get others to see it your way and if they do not O BOY LQQK out God is coming back and you are going to hell and burn forever cause God is mad that you were not a JW, Evangelical, Morman or Baptist Ect… Come on wake up WE ARE ALL WRONG because of the DEVIL!
Wolves in sheeps clothing are men who get you to “believe” untruth by means of fear, That is why Jesus called them wolves. Men like Deepak USE NO FEAR and they Do not tell you what to believe.

    David

    • thekeynote00 Says:

It is interesting that you talk a lot about not finding your beliefs in books, but seeking truth only through the Father within.

And to this I have three questions.

First of all Jesus words reveal that there is a “unique mutual knowledge and relationship of Jesus precisely as the Son to the Father, a mutual relationship out of which Jesus reveals, not a previously unknown God, but the God whom he alone knows fully and really.”-Gerald O’Collins

“All things have been committed to me by my Father. no one knows the Son except the Father, and NO ONE knows the Father EXCEPT THE SON AND THOSE TO WHOM THE SON CHOOSES TO REVEAL HIM.” Matthew 11:27

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through ME.” John 14:6

Furthermore, seeking the truth from the Father will only lead us back to the Son, who is our guide to the Father. The father will teach and confirm who Jesus was as the Son of God, and all the things in which Jesus taught.

“Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered. “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him COMES TO ME.” John 6:43-45

Secondly, you speak of not learning from books, but only from the “father” within. But how is it that you learned to seek this “father” within. Who told you not to learn from books… did you not read that in a book. Did you not read the way to the “father” within from others?? How can you tell me not to learn from books when you have gained your understanding or at least the direction for finding understanding from books and from other peoples thoughts?

Lastly, How are you sure the this “father” within that you seek is the the Father God as Jesus spoke of Him, or that he is not some other spirit?

John the beloved, said this about how to test spirits, and know we are truly hearing from God…
“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.” 1 John 4:1-3

So it sounds to me that if you have rejected Jesus as the Son of God, the only begotten of the Father, God in the flesh. Then you are not really listening to the “father” but some other spirit.

Maybe its time you examine this “father within” you have been listening to. Maybe its time you examine the “spirit” of these men in whom you admire and receive counsel from. I think you might realize that its not the “father” both they and you are hearing but the spirit of the Antichrist.

Oh and I’m sorry maybe I missed it… but I never heard you defense against the perversion of Scripture, that Jesus taught we were all deity, as you so often quote.

      • This is a key point to this scripture:
“AND THOSE TO WHOM THE SON CHOOSES TO REVEAL HIM.” Matthew 11:27

“Father who sent me draws him” John 6:43-45

        “through ME.” John 14:6
I have never said “no books” I am advising is the truth does not come from books alone they can only be guide posts.

Lastly, How are you sure the this “father” within that you seek is the the Father God as Jesus spoke of Him, or that he is not some other spirit? I AM SURE HE IS THE FATHER! I am here trying to get people to go within as Jesus taught, if I did not listen to the Father within and to Jesus when he taught us all to seek the father within, I would not have this blog.

Heaven and Hell take on New meaning’s as “The Father within” lifts your consiciousness by eliminating the ego, He helps you surrender the EGO/Devil so you can “HEAR HIM.”

This would all sound crazy to me too if it was not happining, however I can describe a beautiful sunset to you but if have never seen one you may think that they do not exist.

“Oh and I’m sorry maybe I missed it… but I never heard you defense against the perversion of Scripture, that Jesus taught we were all deity, as you so often quote. ”
I hope you are not upset. This is not my intention, if I have offended you I am sorry this is not my intention. Jesus told us we are gods. Because we are, but not in a way you will understand having not made contact with the “Father” who teaches ALL who seek “Him” in Spirit and Truth. You can not hear what I am trying to say if you filter it via the ego. Jesus taught truth and the religious people of his day could not hear him, why?

This comment here: “Maybe its time you examine this “father within” you have been listening to. Maybe its time you examine the “spirit” of these men in whom you admire and receive counsel from. I think you might realize that its not the “father” both they and you are hearing but the spirit of the Antichrist.”
They called Jesus the devil too for trying to tell the people of his day the same thing I am saying here.
Jesus told us they will persecute you for my sake.

When we decide to “go within” and we will (every knee will bow) we will then and Only then Understand what Jesus meant when he told us about “the father within” who is “in Heaven” and who is the Only “One good.”

        Love and Light,
        David

      • thekeynote00 Says:

Jesus told us to a lot more than just go within. In fact his words were, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

So are making disciples of Christ… teaching sound biblical doctrine as Paul would say?
Are you baptizing people in the name of the Father Son and Holy Spirit?
Are you teaching them to command everything Jesus said? or just the parts you like… like going “within?”

*I believe you are referencing Luke 17:20 & 21 When you talk about going “within”

Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is WITHIN you.”

And the term “within” used here is the Greek word ἐντός, which also also is translated “among.” Therefore it would read the Kingdom of God is “among” you. Or the rule and presence of God is among you…

Jesus said at the inauguration of his ministry “repent the Kingdom of God is near.” Not “within”

Don’t focus so closely on one verse that you loose sight of the rest of Scripture.

  3. david1963 Says:

    cronos08!
    Thank you.
I Agree with You 100 %. We all need to “keep seeking” as Jesus taught. Jesus is my savior as well as everyone else’s. Every knee will bow when we understand that Jesus has the keys to heaven we just have to do what he teaches us to do and just not read it in a book. He told us “FEAR NOT” and do not worry about tomorrow. Not to worry about food, clothing, shelter etc… the Father will provide for us ALL. Paul is who told us if we do not work we do not eat, (not true). Paul told us to be “mature” where Jesus tells us to be like “children.” Be childlike and realize that we know NOTHING and we will enter the Kingdom as Jesus told us about. Jesus was not talking of the afterlife He was talking about here and now.
    Love,
    David

    • thekeynote00 Says:

If your interpreting Jesus words to say that we can lazily sit around, or meditate all day and food would fill our cupboards then your misunderstanding what he said.

Jesus compared our provision to that of birds. And with Birds, although provision is made for them, they still have to go out and collect the food. It doesn’t magically find its way into their nests. Its the same for us. If we do not work we will not eat. Paul is affirming this, not contradicting Jesus.

When the disciples were hungry they had to work to eat… in fact they were accused of working on the sabbath because they were seen picking gain on the sabbath, and Jesus defending their “work.”

God decreed in Genesis that man would have to work the fields, and the fall of man only enmity between man and the land.

      Genesis 3:19
“By the sweat of your face
      you shall eat bread,
till you return to the ground,
      for out of it you were taken;
      for you are dust,
and to dust you shall return.”

So as much as you may not like the implications of this curse… its effects are no less true.

*When you try to pin one Biblical writer against another, you are made the fool, not the Scriptures, because they are united in message by the same Spirit.

  4. david1963 Says:

    Jon,
If you can live with this doctrine that you quote and you believe it to be true then it will be true to you. When you pass this doctrine on to others be sure that it is the truth and you do not mislead people. How has it worked for you? Is you life different from others who do not believe as you do? You mis quote me all over the place on this blog so be careful you are not misquoting Jesus when you witness about him to others or you will be found as a false prophet. Telling people what you have not expirenced for yourself but what you have Only read from a book is not “the Jesus way”.
“lazily sit around, or meditate all day and food would fill our cupboards”
Never said that. However YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WORK TO EAT! I am saying this.
God decreed in Genesis ??? Then your God of Genesis is WRONG!
Think of the homless for just a moment or out of work scared people they do not work. And YES my brother THEY EAT!
You will never understand Jesus as long as you contine to see things through your own ego eyes as Saul of Tarsas instructs us to do. Most religious church going people are followers of “The Apostle Paul” not “Jesus the Christ”
In love I send this hoping that you will listen to Jesus and not continue to be lead astray by the self appointed apostle Paul. When you discover the “Real Jesus” your life will be transformed as mine is and you will say as others before us “thank you Jesus for your freeing gospel.”
There is a man who has not ate or drank in over 4 years. And YES he meditates ALL day. The god we are taught about in church is the god of this world and not the God that Jesus speaks about.
Think about all the lies that you are aware of, could this bible not be another? Why only 66 books?
You never answer any of my questions you defend a position that you know nothing about. You think Jesus is talking about a heaven “after death” this is NOT TRUE. Jesus is talking about Here and NOW! You ask about “God above” NOTHING IS OUT THERE! Everything is “WITHIN US” but you do not have the eyes to see it as Jesus said you need to surrender you own thoughts and seek him with everything you got and he will show himself to you.

“I can CONTINUE to describe a beautiful sunset to you but if you have never seen one you may think that they do not exist, when in fact beautiful sunsets do exist but you have to open your eyes to see them.”

Just quiet Your mind for 10 minutes and seek the “father” and you too will agree with me and you will stop trying to defend yourself and your “beliefs” as you will see they have been in error as I SAW.
Not your fault is is the devil’s fault who comes to steal (the Word), kill (Jesus) and destroy (all those who follow him). Stop persecuting others who do not believe as you do!!! Love them and you too will see your life transformed in a way you never dreamed possible. You will be born again and will never feel as tho you have to “make your point.”
I love you man you know me. WHY WOULD WE LIE ABOUT A CHANGED LIFE. Free of all the worlds proplems, no mare pain. I will not continue to address untrue scripture. The bible that you hold as the “Word of God” is in my opinion, Man made for control the control of men. If nothing else meditate on what Jesus said and your life will be transformed as Jesus said it would. The Pharisses new the “religious words” but what did it get them?
    Love,
    David

    • thekeynote00 Says:

Wow… you are more deceived then I thought.

If you reject the God of Genesis then you reject the Father in which Jesus spoke of. Jesus was a Jew, let us not forget. And He came to seek and save the lost sheep of Israel. He did not come to teach us this new age, eastern philosophy that you have been caught up in.

Jesus confirmed he was the Son of God, by upholding the Torah, by upholding the Old Testament Prophets. On the Road to Emmaus Jesus taught the two men about Himself from the Old Testament.

“beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.” Luke 24:27

What Questions have I not answered?

      Have I gone “within?”
Yes, I am a Child of God who is led by the Spirit. And the Spirit of God leads in me all truth. John 16:13.
I talk with my Father, God, all the time. I thank him for his son who humbled himself became flesh and died in place. I praise the name of the Son who God glorified and rose up of as the firstfruits of the resurrection of the dead.

Without a hope of a physical resurrection why go on living for God? Why would the writers or the other millions of Christian martyrs die under persecution?

“If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.” 1 Corinthians 15:19

“Now if there is no resurrection, what will those do who are baptized for the dead? “If the dead are not raised,
      “Let us eat and drink,
      for tomorrow we die.”
      Do not be misled”
      1 Corinthians 15:32-33

I do follow the “real Jesus.” You follow the Jesus as described by Deepak Chopra.

These 66 books are not the record of all that God has done. However, they are true and reliable witness of how God has chosen to reveal himself to us in this world.

There is no subjective truth. The Bibles message can be contextualize within our circumstance and situation, but it is no less true at any given time or place.

How can my truth say there is only one truth, which is Jesus, for all of mankind. And your truth say something different, and yet both be true?

What you label as persecution is really exhortation and rebuke. If I did not try to correct your errors in doctrine and let you wonder off the road into a ditch, what kind of friend would I be?

Let me end with this quote:
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” -Edmund Burke

      • “These 66 books are not the record of all that God has done. However, they are true and reliable witness of how God has chosen to reveal himself to us in this world.”
        Who told you?

“What you label as persecution is really exhortation and rebuke.” The Pharasies rebuked Jesus too but what does it mean?

You and I interput scripture differently. Its not a problem really. I mean lets face it there are 1000’s who claim the same book but many different interpatations of it who is right? You? I never say I am right I never say “Take my word” for it. I say find out for your self as I did. I TOO was where you are in one of a 1000 different denominations, I TOO thought I new it all. I too prayed as you pray. I TOO was a “Christian” but it got me to the same place as everyone else THINKING I AM RIGHT AND YOU ARE WRONG. COME ON! God is not that God! Only give some people the truth and others who do not see it your way God is some how misleading them. How arrogant and un-loving is that? I was there! But now I Am found. When was the last time you told a complete stranger THAT YOU LOVED THEM? Last time? Do you have the love of Jesus in your heart right now for me?
Paul had mislead us. By design but he has. Without love we can not go forward in this dialoge.
If I died today how would you feel? If President Obama died today how would you feel? If your next door neighbor died today how would you feel? Did you love us Jon? I mean really love us? I love you and I want you to understand (not just dis-agree with me) BUT UNDERSTAND the love Jesus talks about and I have come into possision of. My friend, Paul did not have this love by the words that are attributed to him that I read in the book of Romans. This love comes from “heaven within” and Paul Unlike Jesus never tells us about this love that he never found. That I am telling you about, that Deepak is telling everyone about.

You do not have to be a “Christian” to expirence God and “His” kingdom.
        Love,
        David

    • cronos08 Says:

David I do not wish to make you feel ganged up on in anyway so i ask that you would answer this question in your own time… Here and in your most recent post you deny Paul as an apostle… My question is simple would you deny Peter as an apostle as well?

      • cronos08,
God bless us all. No one can deny Peter was an apsotle, he new Jesus personally where Paul or Saul of Tarsus and John of revelation did not. cronos08 tell me who was Peter’s earthly father? Looking forward to your answer and continued dialoge.
        Love,
        david

  5. Ok so you deny Paul but dont deny Peter? It doesn’t make since to call Peter an apostle and follower of Christ and then call Paul not even a Christian… Peter recognizes him as one – 2 Peter 3:15-18

15Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

17Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. 18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

In this passage he would not only call Paul a Christian(brother) but not only that he speaks of his writings being in “the wisdom that God gave him” also lends to him being a follower of Christ.. and would put it with the rest of the Scriptures when he says “…the other Scriptures” if he would not hold Paul’s writings to be in accord with the rest of the bible he would not of used other but rather would of just said as they do the scriptures

    • cronos08!
Thank you for your comments. Peter was appointed by Jesus and Paul was “self appointed” that is my only point.

Who is Peter’s dad? Who was Peter’s grandfather? Not a trick question I want to see if you know the names of these two men. When I learned who they were I understood how close knit the family of Jesus was. Do you know that Jesus went to the Orient to study and learn?
      Love and Light,
      David

      • cronos08 Says:

I would say he wasn’t self appointed that Jesus appointed him on the road to Damascus.. and even if he was “self appointed” Peter one who was appointed by Jesus still recognized his teaching as wisdom from God where as you (i believe) would call him a non Christian and his teachings as false..

Oh and sorry i dont see the relevance in who they were.. BUT i will and planned on looking it up i just hadn’t been able to look up who his dad was and what not yet.. but i will get back to you on that once i find out for myself so sorry for not answering that one..

  6. thekeynote00 Says:

There are not many valid interpretation of the Scriptures. There is one interpretation, many applications, or contextualization. How you can you be Ok with many different views of Interpreting something? That defies logic. Even in Poetry, a written form designed to spark emotions, a reader can interpret the poem wrong, and not be lead to the emotions the Poet had intended.
I would say only in the most abstract of literary forms is a “reader response” view literature reasonable. And the New Testament is no where near an abstract literary form. In Fact many of the Writers explicitly define the purpose for writing.

“These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” John 20:31

In my former book [the Gospel of Luke], Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.
    Acts 1:1-3

Each writer wrote with intentionality, purpose, and direction. They did not mean for their words to lead the reader in conflicting directions. Their words meanings were confirmed by how the early church received them and understood them. The early church fought hard to defend against the exact concept you are trying to promote. Defending Sound Doctrine has always been a part of Following Jesus.

You have rationalized away God. You reject him because you do not understand him, and he does not fit into your Box. God does not seem right to you so he could not possible be God. That is true arrogance. What kind of deity would God be if our finite mind could understand him and rationalize his existence and motives. You have made God in the Image of man… and not man in the image of God.

You are right in the sense that humanity does not have to be a “christian” to experience God or His kingdom. That is completely correct. There were many in Jesus’ day who experienced God’s kingdom working, and unveiling all around them, including the Pharisees. However, without Submitting to Jesus they will only ever be outside observers.

All of Humanity is living in the presence of God… this is because he is ever present not because all are gods or that all have God “within” them. His Spirit is what is Sustaining the world, and His grace is what is keeping man from falling off the cliff into utter depravity. These are all Christian doctrines.
However, it is when man submits his life to the God, then the work of justifying, reconciling, regenerating, sanctifying, and saving the person begin and take place.

It is when we enter into a intimate “knowing” relationship with God (John 17:3) and submit to his Lordship, or repent (have a change of mind) about living for our will and submit to rule and authority of God (his kingdom) that he then moves from being the God of the universe around us to our God who lives in us, restoring us and delivering us.

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

I love you Dave this is why I said I write these things. Because I want you to return to the knowledge of the truth. And this is why I spend time disciplining students in Christ, because life is found in no one else but Jesus.

You say Paul lack love, and you even point to from Romans as an example, yet in that very book Paul pours out his Heart before the Church expressing his great sadness for the Jews and how they have been blinded to the truth. He finally comes to place where he says that he wishes he could exchange his salvation in place for his lost Hebrew people.

“I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, those of my own race, the people of Israel.” Romans 9:2-4

Your right maybe my love is not that great… when it is compared to the Love of the Apostle Paul who was willing to give up his own salvation so that his people might receive it.

It seems like everything you have come to read and believe from Deepak Chopra is a lie or deception. I say this because every time you bring up something he claims, it is found to be false.

I do commune with the Jesus often and he never leads me to your “truth.” He cant because he is the Truth.

Wow! you just stepped off into fairy tale Land with Jesus travels to India or the Orient. There is no credible evidence to that effect at all. Only very highly speculative documents which are only substantiated by some very questionable sources.

The fact is Jesus travel to Africa with His parents a few years after his birth, and returning from Africa before he was twelve where we find him talking with the lawyers. The next years are blank in the Gospels. But from the information we gather at the onset of his ministry, Jesus’ Father Joseph died and it is likely Jesus worked to help support his family, mother and sisters, (although we do not know this for sure).

Secondly, Jesus and his family were poor and to travel such great distances was not only rarely heard of in that time, but it would have been costly.

Lastly, Jesus was highly school in the Torah… as every Jewish child was. And there is no direct evidence that Jesus ever quotes from any other source except the Scriptures. So if he did travel it seem to have no effect on him, his ministry or teachings.

It makes more sense that other religions would seek to add tales of Jesus into their religious history because of Jesus world wide impact.

I’m surprised with someone who is so fascinated with seeking the truth, you so quickly except the wildest ideas.

I’m beginning to think you only except these ideas because they are completely opposite of excepted truth, and because they are controveral.

I think if the things you believed were the mainstream, you would reject them in a heart beat.

Its as if only the “conspiracy theory’s” hold validity.

Dave if you died I would be heart broken. I am Heart broken for you right Now! Sarah and I pray for you daily, as well as others whom I have shared my concern with you about.

  9. thekeynote00 Says:

You affirm this continual seeking for truth, yet at the same time you say “But now I Am found.”

Why are you seeking if you are found. Has God lost you or you lost him?

Furthermore, this whole Idea seems contradictory to the Idea you support, namely, that we are all gods.

Why seek for God, if we are god. Have you not found yourself?
We either must be lousy gods, or this father “within” you speak of is.

  10. God bless you Jon.
    Love ,
    david
